A 180 millimetre robot duck that runs on one silicone cord. Wind the knob on its hip 2 turns, set it down and let go. It rolls 12.6 centimetres, coasts to a stop, and waits to be wound again.

The knob is one end of a hollow axle running right through the duck. 2 turns is its whole budget — the cord inside will not take more.
A silicone cord runs down the middle of that axle, tied to a fixed anchor at one end and to the axle's own crossbar at the other. Twist the axle and you twist the cord. That is the motor.
The cord unwinds, the axle turns, and the 20 mm drive wheel pushes off the floor. The two 12 mm rollers at the back just trail along on their pins.
One knob turn is one wheel turn is 63 mm of floor. 2 turns, 126 mm, then it stops — small enough to run across a desk and not off the far side.
The build splits its own files into two groups, and the split turns out to be the product: the half you look at, and the half you wind.
It is a floor toy first and a desk toy second: 87 × 38 × 180 mm, 94.0 grams, and a turning circle of exactly nothing — it only goes straight.
The cord is the wear part and it is meant to be replaced. Winding is a job for adult hands: hold the knob until the duck is on the floor, then let go.
