15 counters a side, 30 in all, in the same places they start on any board. A lane is 63.5 mm long and a counter is 12 mm, so the longest stack sits five nose to tail with the outermost against the rim.
Lanes 0.8 mm proud, grooves 1.6 mm wide, and four small studs set in the grooves where the quadrants divide. Nothing here is paint or inlay, so there is nothing to wear off the face.
One side ends in a fork, the other in a point — same 12 x 8 x 4 mm footprint, different outline. In one filament, as here, the two armies still read apart across the table.
A cup is 42 mm across with a 38 mm bore; two 16 mm dice stand 32 mm side by side, so they shake under one cup and land inside the 48 mm hub.
The five crosses the division where a folding board carries its hinge; here it is just the next lane. The three runs a counter off the end of the numbering and straight on round, because on a circle there is no end to run off.
Colour is the usual way to tell backgammon sides apart. These two are cut to different outlines as well, which makes the colour optional.
15 counters end in a forked tail. 15 end in a single point. Both are 12 x 8 x 4 mm and both lie flat, so a stack of five fills its lane the same way either side of the board.
Print each side in its own filament for the usual look. Print the whole set in one and nothing is lost: the outline is doing the work colour normally does.
