Three filaments do the whole machine: yellow for the shells and both armour plates, near-black for the yokes, beams, claws, rings and pins, and one bone-coloured loop out to each knee.

What actually goes to the slicer.

16 distinct shapes. 8 of them build the hull once; the other 8 build a single leg — which is then printed 6 times over, and that repeat is where 54 of the 63 pieces come from. The biggest shape is the chassis at 97.5 mm and the smallest is the thigh plate at 15.5 mm, so every one of them fits inside a 100 mm cube.

Hull, beams, guards, claws, cable loops and pins all come off the same plate. Nothing here is bought in, and 54 of the 63 pieces are one leg printed 6 times over.

9 pieces make a leg.

A yoke against the hull, a beam and a plate for the thigh, a beam and a guard for the shin, a claw at the end, a cable loop, and the two pins that join them. 8 shapes, because both pins are the same print.

Both hinges are one pin.

A ∅3.2 mm shaft through a ∅3.6 mm bore — 0.2 mm of clearance a side — under a 9.2 mm head, 22 mm end to end. 12 go into the machine and they are the only fasteners in it.

Then 6 times, at three angles.

The same 9 pieces at every corner. Only the angle they are pinned on at changes: the front pair 60° forward, the middle pair straight out, the rear pair 45° back, mirrored left to right.

9 more up the middle.

A chassis core, three carapace panels along its flanks, three dorsal shells over the top with the antenna blades on the middle one, and a ring on each side. The finished hull rides 36.1 mm clear of the desk.

And it stands level.

All six claws reach the floor together — the pose the CAD holds is a solved stance, not an arrangement. Press the hull down and both pins in every leg give: the thigh swings up, the knee opens out, and the claws stay exactly where they were.

One leg, turned over.

The right middle leg on its own, seen along its own hinge axis, so the angles here are the angles the CAD holds. 9 pieces from 8 shapes — the hip pin and the knee pin are the same print. Every other corner of the machine is this leg again. Pick a piece to find it.

None of these 8 shapes appears anywhere else on the machine. Multiply 9 pieces by 6 corners and the legs alone come to 54 of the 63 printed pieces.

Weight and print time are the slicer's own figures for these 16 shapes at the counts the machine uses — 0.2 mm layers through a 0.4 mm nozzle, 2 perimeters, 15% infill, PETG. Everything else was read off the CAD: pin heights, segment lengths, splay angles, the bore the pin goes through.
