A bedtime shadow-story nightlight. Set it on a nightstand and lean a phone with the flashlight on behind the round window; the beam throws a rabbit, fox, or owl shadow across the bedroom wall. Turn the reel by hand to click through the three animals for a five-minute bedtime story with the kids.

Turn the reel, throw a shadow. A tab on the front turns the captured reel behind the round window, and three sculpted heads click into place one at a time. Rest an external phone flashlight against the back of the housing so its beam passes through the window, throwing whichever animal is indexed as a shadow on the wall.

Four pieces, no glue. The lantern comes as four pieces: the arched front plate with its round window, a reel carved with three animal profiles, a flat back cap, and a bent square-tube stand loop. The cap captures the reel between it and the front plate so it spins freely, and the loop clips under the base to prop it upright.

Palm-sized, 4.9 inches tall. Assembled, the lantern stands 4.9 inches tall on a 4.5 by 3.2 inch footprint, light enough to lift with two fingers. The arched plate and reel are made in PETG with a fine layer finish and a tight seam where the back cap seats, so the reel turns without wobble.
