Desk and shelf display piece. A single 7.1 in tall display object for a desk, a shelf or a windowsill. It reads as a finned rocket rising out of an open lotus bloom, and because the two halves separate at the socket you can lift the rocket off, pack it flat, or show the pedestal on its own.

Peg drops into the socket. The rocket stands on the lotus pedestal alone: a 0.49 in bore runs 0.39 in into the gold center boss, and the peg under the boattail reaches 0.31 in inward at a slip fit. No glue and no screws, so the rocket lifts straight off the base whenever you want to move or re-stage the display.

Four parts, four colours. Four crafted pieces make up the set: a rocket nose, rocket body with three fins, lotus petals and a lotus hub. Each piece holds a single solid colour, so the teal nose, blue body, light green bloom and gold hub each show their own clean, uniform finish.
