A pressable demitasse for a desk. A weighted demitasse that sits on a desk, an angular open handle on one side and the cream disc filling the cup mouth so nothing is poured into it. Press the disc and it clicks quietly, then returns.
Press, click, return. Press the cream disc seated in the cup mouth and it drops into the cup body, clicks once, then comes back up. The click is plastic against plastic and stays quiet: no batteries, no motor, no metal parts, just the crema piston moving in the cup it sits in.
Three pieces, one cup. Three printed pieces come as one object: the cup body carrying the open angular handle, the crema piston that seats in the mouth recess, and the foot plug that closes the underside. The piston drops in from the top and the plug seats into the base.
Fit, finish and heft. Lift it by the open handle and the whole thing comes up at 0.12 lb, 3.1 in across the handle, 2.5 in deep and 2.1 in tall. Made in PETG with fine layer lines: a stepped ring around the top opening, a shallow band above the base, and a flat disc face that stays proud of the rim.
