Portable Chess Board. Four quadrants, one board. The board prints as four 4.8 in quadrants that dovetail into one 9.6 in square, 0.47 in thick, with a 0.39 in border framing the 8.8 in field. Male tails are 0.47 in at the root, 0.24 in deep, with an 8 degree flank; female sockets add 0.006 in clearance per side for a firm push fit.

Unique designed chess pieces. Six heights, six silhouettes. Pieces read by height: king 3.3 in, queen 3 in, bishop 2.4 in, knight 2.3 in, rook 2 in, pawn 1.5 in. Bases carry a 0.024 in edge chamfer, a 0.39 in ballast slug pocket (0.2 in on the pawn) and a 0.039 in felt recess: 0.63 in on round bases, 0.55 in on the king, 0.45 in on the pawn.
