The mushroom knows. Beneath each cap hides a tunnel or solid plug: a probe pin drops in and settles low, just 0.12 inches proud, or stops high at 1.1 inches. The pin stays on the field as permanent evidence, so all three probes per player spend real information before anyone claims ground.

Cracked loam, bone-cast caps. The loam field prints as a cracked, puzzle-edged tile in warm ochre, its ridges holding fine growth-ring texture. Each mushroom stool wears a muted-ochre or oxidized-teal accent band marking its owner, cast in a smooth bone finish with the crisp, precise seams of careful layer-by-layer printing.
