We were hesitant at buying this, but it was on a wicked good sale so we took the plunge and could not be happier. It works as advertised and we get a bunch of comments on it. We were not aware we could change the temperature of the light and turn off the light, so that was a nice surprise. If you or your children love space like our 9 year old does, this is a pretty awesome nice to have item.

I am quite happy with the spinning moon lamp. It looks like a prop from a sci fi movie, and the moon is quite detailed. It spins a bit too fast clockwise, but apparently is slightly slower clockwise.
