Desk-scale collector model. For motorsport fans and model builders who want a desk-scale racing car that is actually handled: roll it on a shelf, spin the wheels, and pull the pegged wings or halo off for a different colour combination. At 12 in long it sits well on a bookshelf or beside a monitor.
Rolling 1:16 chassis. A 1:16 open-wheel racing car, 12 in long and 4.9 in wide across the front wing, with an 8.3 in wheelbase. All four wheels spin: each 1.8 in tire on a 1.1 in rim runs on a 0.12 in axle stub with 0.012 in clearance, held by a retaining cap.
Seventeen printed pieces. Ten part files, 17 printed pieces: body shell, floor, front wing, rear wing, halo, plus 4 rims, 4 tires and 4 axle caps. Pegs and sockets locate every appendage - 0.098 in front wing pegs, 0.12 in rear wing peg, three 0.079 in halo pegs, each with 0.008 in fit clearance.
