For a builder who wants a battleship on the desk instead of a sealed shelf model: arrange the bridge tower, radar tower, smokestacks and turrets anywhere on the studded deck, turn the main turret to aim, then load the dart and push the plunger. Take it apart and lay it out differently the next day.

A turret that turns and fires. The main turret sits on a turret base and swings freely on the deck. Behind its shell, a plunger and breech cap work as a spring-less push-launcher: seat the dart, push the plunger, and it fires. Every other piece clicks onto the 0.31 in-pitch stud-and-tube deck plate, so the ship can be rebuilt at will.
