Accountfully and The Future of workspace
For our first episode, we’re looking at the perspective of a non-traditional accounting firm via Brad Ebernhoeh from Accountfully. Accountfully is an accounting firm that helps companies outsource their accounting needs to professional and experienced accounting teams, rather than hiring an in-house accounting team. Their new and non-traditional approach to accounting for emerging companies has helped them carve out a unique niche in the market.
Accountfully discusses how they transitioned to hybrid working after readjusting their business model from a remote work experience. They didn’t have too much trouble with their transition thanks to their forward-thinking business practices and embrace of remote working teams. According to Brad Ebernhoeh: “We have paperless cloud for service delivery already, so this did not change how we worked with our customers. Pre-covid, we had a 2 days working from home policy in place”
Among their challenges was finding ways to make remote and local teams work cohesively, while managing some of the issues that arise with teams who work in separate spaces most of the time. This required active and intentional inclusion of teams to work together despite their various geographic locations.
