Getting started

Getting started is simple. First, visit the Autonomous website and click on the minigame button or visit directly via this link.

Once you’ve created or signed into your Autonomous account, all you need to do is flip the cards and find the rewards. You’ll see a layout of 8 cards in front of you that can be flipped. Each card could contain:

• Store credits - money you can use toward your next Autonomous purchase.

• 50% off discount code -  applicable for all Autonomous accessories.

• Request card - requires that you take further action (more on that below).

• Other special gifts and deals.

Playing the Game

It’s a game of chance! Click on a random card to flip it and see what you’ve unlocked.

• All store credits will automatically be saved in your Autonomous account.

• Your 50% off discount code will be sent to you via email, which you can then apply at checkout. 

The request cards require you to take further action. Each request card has a New Year’s Resolution theme related to work, your personal life, or your studies. Finishing and successfully submitting a request will earn you a challenge completion, and the 4 fastest players to collect and submit 3 different requests during the 7 day period will win huge cash prizes!

• The fastest to complete 3 requests wins $2000.

• The three runners-up will each win $1000.

Submitting a Request Card

Step 1: Post a photo of you taking the first step towards your New Year’s Resolution about your work, personal life, or studies onto your Twitter account with the hashtag #AutonomousNewYearResolution.

Step 2: Paste the tweet link into the input box under the "My Resolutions" tab.
Please note: the link must be from your Twitter account & the tweet must contain #AutonomousNewYearResolution and a relevant photo showing the action required.

Step 3: Your submission & photo content will be under final review by the Autonomous team.
Please note: if your submission is rejected, you cannot submit again and your challenge will be cancelled. So make sure you meet all the requirements mentioned in steps 1 and 2.

When your submission is approved or rejected, you’ll receive a confirmation email to your registered email address.

Getting more turns to flip

Every player gets one free turn every day. But you’ll be at a much greater advantage and closer to the grand prize if you can play more than once per day! Fortunately, you have a few options to earn a second turn:

• Share to Facebook 

• Subscribe to our blog 

• Invite one of your friend via email

• Tweet on Twitter

You can also earn an additional turn when you make any purchase of $300 or more. Each player can have a maximum of three turns per day.

Tracking and redeeming your rewards

Keeping track of your rewards and prizes is simple: 

• At “My Results,” click on “My Resolutions” for request card instructions and the status of your Resolutions. Click on the “My Rewards” tab to get more information about what you’ve earned from playing the game.

• For Store Credits and Discount Codes, in Order Summary at the Checkout stage:
  Tick on “Apply Reward points” to apply the Store Credit rewards to buy products.
  Then, enter your Discount Code (which was sent to your registered email address) in “Use Promo Code” to apply your discount with each order including Autonomous accessories.

• For the grand prizes of $2000 and $1000, we will contact the winners with instructions on how to claim the prize.

Other Terms and Conditions

• Availability: USA only

• Timeline: January 6th - 12th, 2021

• Each player can use ONE FREE turn and ONE EARNED turn every day to flip cards and find items on the back sides of the cards. Those who purchased the minimum $300 amount may earn the 3rd turn on that order date. Please note: Play turns cannot accumulate in the following days.

• Only valid email addresses can be used to play the game. Please make sure you play with your correct email address

• For Store Credit Rewards, your store credits will be applied to your next purchase, and cannot be applied retroactively to your previous purchases. The Discount Code cannot be combined with any other discount code and cannot be used retroactively for your previous purchases. The Store Credits and Discount Code will expire on January 15th, 2021 at 23:59 PST.

• Every request card submissions will be supervised by the Autonomous team for the final review. Submissions that meet all posting and photo requirements will receive a confirmation email. If submissions do not meet posting and photo requirements, they will be considered invalid. Players are not allowed to submit the same request again under any circumstances.

• Autonomous reserves the right to modify and/or change any content of the Flip Forward Minigame Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice to customers and customers are bound by these changes.  

• Autonomous's decisions on all matters related to the Flip Forward Minigame will be final and decisive. Autonomous will not be liable for any claims by you or for third-party claims or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, any loss of profits, loss of expectations, indirect, special, or consequential or other damages and any related claim of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential damages or other harm caused by or related to this minigame.  

• Autonomous may, at its sole and absolute discretion, replace one award with another of equivalent value, in the absence of the original award, illegal or not feasible.

• When awarding prizes, Autonomous may ask customers to present identification or other information to confirm the identity of winners, in order to avoid cases of fraud. For the avoidance of doubt, Autonomous reserves the right to refuse to reward a customer if a customer fails to cooperate in the identity verification process.  

• Customers must exchange/receive all offers and prizes within the specified time. Any incentives and prizes that are not redeemed/received within the specified time will be withdrawn (or destroyed or donated or otherwise at Autonomous's sole discretion or in accordance with applicable laws). Autonomous will not resolve any claims related to this case.  

• Unless otherwise stated, all prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or credit of any equivalent.
