How do I reset the SmartDesk?

With SmartDesk Core/Pro purchased before September 2023:

First, please check to see if the desk is connected to power, if the control box is still working, if the keypad is receiving power, and if the leg cables are not loosened. 

  • The working control box shows a green light if connected to power properly. 
  • The keypad is receiving power if it lights up when you press buttons. 

Second, do a hard reset for the desk: 

  • Unplug the SmartDesk from the main power supply and wait for 60 seconds. Plug it back in and wait for another 60 seconds.
  • Press the up and down buttons (at the same time) until the desk lowers all the way down and beeps. 
  • Release both buttons.
  • Press the down button until you hear three beeps or until the screen starts flashing. If you hear beeping or see the screen flashing, you can release the button. If neither happens, you can release it after 20 seconds.

After the last beep or after the screen stops flashing, you should be able to operate the desk normally.

With SmartDesk Core purchased after September 2023:

  • Unplug the SmartDesk from the main power supply. Unplug all cables that connect the legs and keypad to the control box. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Press and hold the down button until the desktop is in the lowest position, then release the button and press the down button again for 5 seconds.
  • When the keypad screen displays "RST", release the button, press and hold the down button until the keypad screen displays the number.
